During a bail hearing at Southwark Crown Court, lawyers representing Brown successfully argued for his release, which was approved by Judge Tony Baumgartner. This decision clears the way for Brown to embark on a global tour, which kicks off in Amsterdam on June 8, before making stops in several European countries including Germany, Ireland, France, and Portugal, followed by locations in the United States.

As part of the bail conditions, Brown is required to surrender his passport when not touring and is prohibited from visiting Tape London. His legal team agreed to pay a security fee of £5 million (approximately $6.7 million) to secure his release, which may be forfeited if he breaches any bail conditions. Although he has yet to enter a plea in relation to the charges, the case remains sensitive, with British laws restricting the reporting of details that could influence a jury’s decision in a future trial.

In a related development, American rapper Omololu Akinlolu, known as HoodyBaby, was also charged with grievous bodily harm regarding the same incident two days after Brown’s arrest. Both artists are set to appear in court again on June 20 as the legal proceedings continue.
